Denise Searles

I am a Service Coordinator at Kid In Development Services, serving Charleston, Berkley and Dorchester counties. Prior to this I worked as a program coordinator for BabyNet for 4 years, and as a Special Education Teacher for over 8 years. What I love most about this job is the people I work with, and the opportunity to empower families to advocate for themselves. I am married, have three children. Our family has a Cockapoo and welcomed a Goldendoodle puppy to the family. My daughters and I recently started making handmade clay earrings and that hobby has expanded into a business opportunity that is busy but very enjoyable. In my spare time I enjoy reading, walking, and traveling. I am grateful for the opportunity provided by KIDS to partner with families, and coordinate their services so they can give their attention to their most important job of parenting.
