Mary Ellen Cassaro

I am an Early Interventionist with Kid In Development Services for children over the age of 3, in Horry County. I started my career in early childhood as a babysitter when I was 12, not realizing that I would end up working in the field as a preschool and Kindergarten teacher for over 20 years. I went back to college as the mother of 3 teenagers and got my MAT in Early Childhood specializing in teaching preschool to 3rd grade. 

I now have the pleasure of being a grandmother to a very fun little girl who challenges my skill set every time we play together! I have a passion for reading, teaching yoga, gardening, and animals, all of which I try to incorporate into my sessions with families and their children. When I left the classroom setting, I knew I still wanted to work with the Early Childhood population, so I joined KIDS!
